At the Hospital of God, we offer a range of services to suit all sorts of lifestyles. If you want help to get out into the community, and access activities you enjoy, our Community Pastimes team may be able to help.
Community Pastimes support small groups of people who may have a memory problem or diagnosis of dementia, with the same interests and hobbies to access the wider community. Our number one priority is making sure people are living life well and enjoying themselves to the full.
Our fully trained and compassionate staff listen to your needs and wants and tailor a 3-hour session specifically to small groups of people with similar interests.
People who we have worked with have enjoyed going to art and craft sessions, bowls, snooker, knit and natter groups and dancing. The choice is yours! All of our community support workers have had full training, including working with people with dementia. Our service is open to anyone who feels that they may benefit from some extra support, especially those people who are feeling lonely or isolated.
Community Pastimes is currently available Monday to Friday. Morning or afternoon sessions are offered.
At Community Pastimes, we aim to provide an outstanding service at an affordable price.
