An exciting opportunity for new Trustees to join the Charity’s Board

The Hospital of God at Greatham is seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals who share our core values, bring clear and rational decision-making and can share their lived experiences to support our Charity in achieving its aims.

The Hospital of God at Greatham is seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals who share our core values, bring clear and rational decision-making and can share their lived experiences to support our Charity in achieving its aims.

We are particularly looking for people with:

We also want to compliment the skills of our current Trustees, with individuals who have an interest and/or experience in Charity governance, environmental and heritage projects and grassroots charities in the north-east area.

Successful candidates will have the ability to use their skills to ensure good governance through their strategic insight, sound advice and constructive challenge to help the Trustee Board undertake their responsibilities of scrutiny and support.

Trustees are expected to attend the six Board meetings scheduled through the year, along with becoming members of the Boards Sub-Committees, (currently “Finance and Property” and “Grants”) and be willing to visit those who use our provision. Travel expenses paid for attendance at meetings and other activities
