Further to recent Government updates relating to Care Homes and visits in and out of the home, please note that The Hospital of God will be implementing:

Residents visiting other locations

• Each resident will be allowed only 3 visitors and an essential care giver under new guidance to slow the spread of Omicron

Booster vaccinations

• We will support and facilitate a programme of vaccine boosters in homes for any staff or resident who wishes to have a booster vaccination and has to date not had one

Staff

• Staff will now be required to undertake 3 x weekly Lateral Flow tests and 1 x weekly PCR tests

We are aware that for many relatives, this is not the news you wanted to hear especially in the run-up to Christmas. Please be assured that we will continue to place the well-being of your loved ones at the heart of everything we do.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide updates as further guidance is issued.
